Nondiscrimination Statement
We are an equal opportunity organization and will not allow discrimination based upon age, ethnicity, ancestry, gender identity, sex, national origin, disability, race, size, religion, sexual orientation, veteran status, genetic information, socioeconomic background, or any other status prohibited by applicable law.
Grievance Policy
If you believe that you or someone else has been subject to sexual harassment, other harassment, or discrimination as a part of Gilda’s Club, you should immediately report the incident to Joy Bush, Executive Director (ED).

If you are still unsatisfied with the answer or solution offered by the ED, you may submit the complaint in writing to Lori Serrano, the Chair of the Board of Directors. All complaints submitted to the Chair of the Board of Directors shall be in written form and shall state clearly (a) the complaint; (b) the matter or fact upon which the complaint is based; and (c) the relief sought by the employee/member/volunteer.
The Chair of the Board of Directors will arrange a meeting to discuss the complaint within ten working days following receipt of the complaint. The Chair of the Board of Directors shall issue their decision with ten working days of the meeting with the complainant. The decision of the Chair of the Board of Directors shall be final and binding for all parties and shall not be appealable or reviewable by a court of law.

These individuals are responsible for receiving, investigating, and resolving harassment and discrimination complaints.
It is not sufficient to report a complaint of sexual harassment, other harassment, or discrimination to any person other than one of these designated individuals.
